We spent a week in one of the most gorgeous islands in all of the Caribbean -- Curacao!

Sandals Royal Curacao is a new, absolutely stunning all-inclusive. It has all the Sandals inclusions -- transportation to and from the airport, all you can eat food and beverages, water sports, and more! But it also has the most gorgeous modern rooms and amenities.

 We stayed in a swim-up butler suite. Our patio doors opened to a tranquil semi-private pool and boy, did we take advantage of that!! Our butlers brought us fruit and coffee to our patio every morning and we often sat poolside for hours a day!

SRC also has a main pool that was hoppin' every day! We had a great time joining the activities which included trivia, dance lessons, and even a few silly challenges. Our butlers grabbed poolside beds for us to use, and brought us drinks and food as often as we wanted. We were so spoiled by the end of the week.

There were also the cutest food trucks nearby our room. Our butlers grabbed us snacks every afternoon and we munched in our room while we got ready for dinner. Did I mention how spoiled we were?
 
 We ventured off property one day to take the most amazing tour. Let Lucy Handle It -- absolutely 5 stars! Lucy drove us all around the city of Willemstad and her expertise and friendliness are unmatched. She even took cute videos and pictures of us as we wandered around the brightly colored streets and buildings! We ended the day feeling like Lucy was an old friend.

But what's the best thing about Curacao? It's below the hurricane belt -- which means you can travel there anytime during hurricane season! That's great for those of us (cough cough, me) who have August anniversaries!
